3 SHAPE TRIOS INTRAORAL SCANNER
The 3 SHAPE TRIOS, a groundbreaking device in dentistry, captures 3D images of our patients’ mouths and displays them on-screen. Using the 3D visuals, our dentist explains in detail the treatments needed, allowing the patient to see and understand the process.
Intraoral scanning with the 3 SHAPE TRIOS scanner takes only a few seconds. The scanner measures tooth shades, adds HD photos to the 3D model, and records the patient’s jaw movement to achieve the best restorative result from the lab.
Restorations completed with 3 SHAPE TRIOS scanners are finished much more quickly and delivered with higher accuracy, ensuring they fit the patient properly. As a result, patients don’t need to worry about coming back for adjustments.
The 3 SHAPE TRIOS wireless intraoral scanners have received the CELLERANT “Best in Class” technology award 9 times.

CAD / CAM TECHNOLOGY
CAD / CAM technology has been used in dentistry since 1985 and has revolutionized the production of dental restorations and prosthetics. Since then, CAD / CAM has continuously evolved, offering both professionals and patients a comfortable treatment solution.
Understanding Digital Dentistry and the CAD / CAM Process
In CAD / CAM dentistry, the software enables the creation of complex restorations faster, more efficiently, and with greater accuracy. With CAD / CAM, we produce inlay & onlay fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and implant-supported restorations.
Steps before CAD / CAM technology:
1. First, cavities are cleaned for restoration,
2. Intraoral scanning is performed using an optical scanner to obtain a 3D image of the area and surrounding teeth,
3. The 3D image is used for designing the restoration,
4. A milling machine uses the digital image to shape a crown, veneer, bridge, or filling from a ceramic monoblock,
5. Sintering and polishing: the restoration is glazed for a natural look before being polished,
6. Cementation: Finally, the restoration is permanently placed in the patient’s mouth to complete the smile.
The entire process can take between 45 minutes and 2 hours.
When Is CAD / CAM Technology Used?
CAD / CAM is used for a wide range of dental treatments:
* Laminate veneers and zirconium crowns
* Fractured tooth treatments
* Misaligned tooth corrections
* Amalgam and composite fillings

ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH OP 30 PANORAMIC X-RAY DEVICE
At our clinic, we use the Orthopantomograph OP30 panoramic x-ray system, manufactured by Instrumentarium — the original producer of panoramic devices and the company that coined the term “Orthopantomograph.” This device provides high-quality imaging with minimal radiation exposure.
What is an orthopantomogram used for?
An orthopantomogram (OPG) is a common radiograph used to visualize the hard tissues of the oral cavity and surrounding skeletal structures. It is an extraoral x-ray focused on the lower jaw.
When is a panoramic dental x-ray used?
A panoramic x-ray captures the entire mouth in one image using a very low dose of ionizing radiation. It is often used by dentists and oral surgeons in routine practice and for planning treatments such as dentures, braces, extractions, and implants. No special preparation is needed for panoramic x-rays.
Why is an OPG necessary?
OPGs are regularly used during routine exams to monitor and assess the health of your teeth and gums. They help detect and monitor oral conditions such as infections, abscesses, and gum diseases.
PHILIPS ZOOM LASER TEETH WHITENING
Can Zoom whitening harm your teeth?
Zoom teeth whitening is an in-office, dentist-approved method for achieving a brighter smile and is safe for tooth enamel. As long as you follow dentist-approved procedures, teeth whitening is considered safe.
Laser whitening can lighten your teeth by 2–3 shades on average in a single session, depending on your tooth structure.
Philips Zoom laser whitening is completely safe.
